Finally recovering...
There's a flu bug going around. Each of my roommates caught it and I hoped and prayed that I wouldn't become a victim as well. Unfortuneately, it got me too. After suffering for a week, I'm finally feeling better. (Just in time for exams)
Stay healthy everyone!

Oh February...
I tried to stop it. I tried to halt time. Unfortunately, it still came upon me.
February.
I've been dreading this month since I made my calendar of class work. Exams are in every week along with case studies and law briefs. This means many sleepless nights and tears of frustration.
Not to mention, I picked up a job waitressing at a restaurant.
Well if I make it through this month alive then the rest of the semester should go smoothly!

Cooking Lessons
For the past two years, my food choices have been a variety of lean cuisines, instant soups and ramen noodle. Both of parents are chefs but the cooking gene somehow skipped me.
When my friend, Steven, learned of my eating habits, he became determined to make me into a chef. He used to be the chef at Farm 255. Steven made it his personal mission to teach me some basic recipes to make on my own. So far, we've made shrimp pasta, turkey artichoke sandwich and strawberry shortcakes (from scratch!)
yum. =)

It's finally here!...

I finally have my new ASUS eee laptop!!
I feel like it was months ago when I first heard about this beautiful, ultra-portable, 2 pound laptop. My friend, John, knew that I was looking for a small laptop that wasn't going to cost me a fortune. I wanted one to complement my Toshiba laptop, one that I could carry around in my purse. He recommended the ASUS eee: 9 inches wide, wireless connection, microsoft compatible and only $400.
I am THRILLED! :)
